The Department of Human Services, Emergency Management Branch, has generously funded Dr Sharon des Landes to give three presentations in our municipality. Dr Sharon des Landes works with Dr Rob Gordon, and together they work with communities affected by disaster to create an understanding and promote recovery.

Both Sharon and Rob are highly sought after disaster psychologists and it is with pleasure that we welcome Sharon to our municipality. I have personally had the opportunity to hear Sharon speak on a number of occasions and recommend the engaging and informative presentations to all. Whether you have personally experienced a natural disaster (or threat of one) or know someone that has - this is a wonderful session to attend.
