The aim of the buy local camaign is to promote the benefits of buying local by offering incentives to shop locally. Local businesses have supported this campaign by offering great deals to encourage you to buy local.
The Swan Hill region offers a wide range of the goods and services for your convenience. So before you look outside Swan Hill, Think Local – Buy Local
Support from the business community
The Buy Local Campaign was developed by the business community of Swan Hill as an initiative to reduce leakage from the local economy and maximum the benefit for our local community.
Acknowledgements
The Buy Local Campaign has been is a joint project of Swan Hill Incorporated the Swan Hill Rural City Council. The campaign has been supported $10,000 Brumby Labor Government grant as a part of the Provincial Victoria Buy Locally Program.

Capability Register
An objective of the buy local campaign is to encourage business-to-business activity and increase the sourcing of goods and services from within the region.
To help locate potential suppliers/customers within the region, businesses are encouraged to register on the Regional Industry Link website

Regional Industry Link (RIL) is a Victorian Government initiative to match the capability of regional industries with prospective buyers through the RIL website - bringing buyers and suppliers together to do business.
This initiative is managed by ICN Victoria. ICN is funded by the Victorian Government to replace imports, explore export opportunities and promote regional industry in order to assist in the economic growth of Victoria.
